In a scene not unlike something out of the recently released fiction book, Earth Sink, a monster storm stretching some 2,000 miles across the eastern United States in the dead of winter threatens not only ice and snow, but winter tornados, gale force winds, and whiteouts, and of course all the accompanying collateral damages to roofs, power lines, roadways, and traffic, to name a few.
Ok, such things are not new. But, the unsettling strangeness of it all is manifested in the increasingly widespread effects and the overlapping occurrences of these types of meteorological demonstrations. And we haven't even gotten to the impact events yet. It's only a matter of time. Read Earth Sink. It's only fiction until it's not.
