The Cleansing of America, by W. Cleon Skousen, is a book I did not know existed until after I had published Earth Sink.
Skousen's book, The Cleansing of America is what I would call the non-fiction version of Earth Sink. Interestingly, The Cleansing of America was written in 1994, but not released to the public until 2010, the same year I published Earth Sink.
Of course, Earth Sink portrays impossible scenes drawn out to the extreme. Nevertheless, there are many plausible scenarios narrated in Earth Sink that bear uncanny similarities to some of what Skousen describes.
